Taking regional soil water Equivalent Water Height (EWH) variations as an example, the Remove-Restore Scheme is employed to approximate the high-precision and high-resolution regional load deformation field (all-element grid time series) in near-Earth space. This scheme combines global load spherical harmonic coefficient synthesis with regional residual load Spherical Radial Basis Function (SRBF) approximation, typically executed in four steps. [Definition of Soil Water EWH] The "soil water EWH" considered in this context comprises: Soil moisture within the top 4 meters; Wetland water; Vegetation water; and Glacier and snow-covered mountain water. Exclusion: Lakes, rivers, and groundwater are explicitly excluded from this definition. [Data Preprocessing Requirement] Both the global soil water EWH variation time series and the regional high-resolution soil water EWH variation time series must be pre-detrended (subtracting their respective annual averages) to unify the global and regional monitoring time datum. |
